Tuning Package #1
This package includes a general cleaning, diagnostic check on your piano, and a full tuning that does not require a pitch raise. For more information on pitch raises, please click the link below.

This package includes a general cleaning and a diagnostic check up on your piano, followed by a full tuning where a pitch raise is necessary. The additional cost reflects the extra time that is needed for the pitch raise.

Additional Services
Variable Cost
After doing the initial diagnostic in your tuning package, we may recommend additional repairs or regulations for your piano. We will give you a quote for the additional cost of the possible extra work.
NOTE: If your location is more than 25 miles from Longmont Colorado, a travel fee of $15 will be added to your final bill. If your location is more than 35 miles away, we are so sorry, but we won't be able to schedule an appointment at this time.
Our mission with every appointment is to leave you with an instrument that looks, performs, and sounds better at an affordable price. We schedule every appointment with extra time to ensure your piano gets all of the care it needs. The first thing we will do is check if your piano requires a pitch raise. Then, we will offer you the tuning package needed depending on the pitch raise. From there, we will do a general cleaning and diagnostic check up on your piano. If any additional repairs or regulations are needed we will give you a flat fee quote on the possible extra work. (You have no obligation whatsoever to have this additional work done.) Finally, we will finish with the tuning and possible repairs or regulations if needed.

Hi, my name is Craig Howie.
My wife Jennifer and I founded True Tone Piano Services after struggling to tune our family piano. We also own a guitar business, Howie Guitars, and I have been a professional luthier since 2015. With this background, I thought I could figure out how to tune our piano, but after many frustrating attempts I realized that tuning and caring for a piano requires a true professional. I finally decided to enroll in The Piano Technician Academy and through the academy, I became a certified piano technician, (CPT).
On a deeper level, we love our work with True Tone because we know we are helping our community create music. In our family, music is a way of life. We are all musicians, and we believe music brings people together in a way that nothing else can. With that in mind, our mission is to help enrich our community’s culture one piano at a time.
